What is PrEP
(Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis)


PrEP is an oral medication taken by HIV-negative individuals to reduce the risk of contracting HIV before a possible exposure. It is highly effective when taken consistently. Please note that PrEP does not protect again other STBBI's (Sexually Transmitted
Blood Borne Infections).








What is DoxyPrEP/ PEP
(Doxycycline Pre-Exposure Prophlaxis)
(Doxycycline Post-Exposure Prophlaxis)


DoxyPrEP is an oral medication taken prior to a sexual encounter to reduce the risk of contracting STBBI's, including syphilis, chlamydia, and gonorrhea.
DoxyPEP is an oral medication taken after a sexual encounter has occurred to reduce the risk of contracting STBBI's.
